Siro Vasthi is a therapeutic procedure used for various conditions such as facial palsy, migraine, dryness of the mouth, throat, and nostrils, insomnia, and spondylitis. During this treatment, lukewarm herbal oils are poured into a specially fitted cap worn on the head. The oil is retained for up to 45 minutes or until discharge occurs from the nose and mouth, whichever comes first. After this period, the oil is removed by slightly bending the head and creating a small opening in the bandage.
This treatment aims to provide relief from the above conditions by applying therapeutic oils directly to the head, enhancing local circulation, and soothing affected areas.
