Pizhichil is a soothing Ayurvedic treatment involving a synchronized massage with warm herbal oil. During this therapy, the patient is seated on a specially designed Ayurvedic chair while a continuous flow of warm medicated oil is applied over the body. Additionally, a cloth soaked in the oil is gently squeezed over the body. This treatment lasts for about 60 to 90 minutes daily, over a period of 7 to 21 days. Pizhichil enhances blood circulation, nourishes muscles, nerves, and tissues, and supports sexual health. It is particularly effective for conditions such as paraplegia, hemiplegia, and general debility.
